Information You Send
A visitor may submit a search term through a third-party search widget or send a message through a contact channel. Search queries pass to the provider that operates the widget so it can return results. A message can include the sender’s name, email address, message contents, and any information the sender chooses to include. Do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed to explain a question.
Teton County Busted Mugshots does not hold official jail, booking, court, or corrections records. A message here cannot change a government record or confirm a person’s custody.
Technical Data and Cookies
Normal page delivery can create technical records such as:
- Internet Protocol address and approximate network information.
- Browser name, version, device type, and operating system.
- Pages visited, time spent, referring page, and timestamps.
- Diagnostic information used to identify broken links or service errors.
- Cookie or similar storage information used for site functions, analytics, or advertising.

Pages may link to Teton County Sheriff’s Office, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho courts, Idaho Department of Correction, federal locators, city records pages, local news, and outside search tools. Their privacy notices and terms govern after a visitor follows a link. Teton County Busted Mugshots does not control their forms, cookies, security, pricing, records, or uptime.
Some advertising partners can observe activity across different sites through their own systems. That activity is governed by the partner’s policy and available controls, not by this notice alone.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold as a stand-alone mailing list by Teton County Busted Mugshots. Information may nevertheless reach the following groups when needed for the purposes above:
- Search partners that process a submitted query.
- Analytics or hosting providers that help deliver and measure the pages.
- Advertising networks and their service providers.
- Vendors that help protect the service or respond to a message.
- Law-enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order or legal duty requires disclosure.
Security Limits
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for the information handled through the service. No internet-connected system is completely secure, and no promise can be made that transmission, storage, or a partner system will be breach-proof. Avoid sending passwords, financial details, medical information, or unrelated personal data through a general message.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor has sent a message or other information, a parent or guardian may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion of that submission.
Your Privacy Requests
Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity checks, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held from a direct submission.
- Correct a mistake in a message or contact detail.
- Request deletion of information that is no longer needed.
- Object to or limit certain processing where a provider offers that control.
- Ask which third-party service received a submitted search query.
Requests can be sent through Get in Touch. A search partner, analytics provider, advertising network, or government agency may need to receive a separate request under its own policy.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised when the service, partners, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date or update statement. Continued use after a change means the revised notice applies to later activity, subject to rights that cannot be waived.
