Get in Touch

This is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm a person’s custody or release, post bond, arrange a visit, or pull an official booking record or photo. Contact the responsible agency directly for those answers. Emergency situations belong with 911.

Official County and Jail Contacts

TCSO handles county arrest and records routing. Madison County Sheriff’s Office operates the current detention setting for Teton inmates. The two offices answer different questions, so identify whether the request concerns the arrest, intake, custody, release, or transfer.

The current TCSO contact page is the source to check before relying on an address or number.

Looking for a Specific Record?

Use the destination below that matches the record, not just the place where an event occurred:

  • For a Teton booking record or booking photo, use the countywide booking and request path, then submit the TCSO public-information form for the existing record.
  • For current Madison custody, intake, release, or transfer information, contact Madison County Jail and use its request portal if a written record is needed.
  • For a court case, hearing, or disposition, search Idaho iCourt Smart Search and contact the Teton clerk for a filed document.
  • For a possible warrant, use iCourt and TCSO’s current non-emergency direction. A name match is not identity confirmation.
  • For Victor, Driggs, or Teton municipal records, use the city-specific pages and request only records the city actually holds.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner or person on state supervision, use the Idaho Department of Correction resident search.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator, according to the custody authority.

City Records Contacts

City hall may hold municipal communications, ordinance records, or contract material. It is not automatically the custodian of a TCSO booking photo.

Court and State Contacts

The Teton courthouse is listed at 150 Courthouse Drive, Driggs, ID 83422. The county clerk page lists clerk-records information and the Idaho court directory lists Teton District Court at 208-354-2239. The county clerk’s office lists 208-776-8111 for courthouse records contact. Use iCourt first for an unsealed public case, then ask the clerk about a filed document or access restriction.

For state custody or state-held records, IDOC’s resident search and public-records policy apply. A state profile is not a county booking photo. For older permanent county or city records, the Idaho State Archives may be an additional research contact, but it does not operate a current booking roster. For an arrest record, start with the arresting agency.

Sending a Records Request

Describe the existing record, person, approximate date, location, agency, case or incident number, and desired delivery method. Ask for a fee estimate before chargeable work. TCSO’s form allows inspection or copies and has a photograph option. A request may be released, redacted, denied, or redirected when another custodian holds the record.

Do not use an open-records request to report an emergency. Do not treat a records response as a court disposition. Charges at booking are accusations, and the case may later change.
